Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1 Review – Best Nintendo Switch travel Dock?

Have you ever been travelling and wished that you had a dock for your Nintendo switch? Maybe you just want one for another room. Or something to clone your phone or laptop onto your TV screen. If you have ever thought anything like this you should check out the Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1.

What is the Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1?

In the intro paragraph I mention that the Reaka USB Hub is a Nintendo switch hub. In reality it is so much more than that. At it’s core the Reaka is a USB hub that can be used to connect many different devices to a display by using a HDMI input. My kids use it regularly to put their Acer Chromebooks on their TVs. They even use it occasionally with their phones. But where the Reaka USB Hub really shines is when it is used as a Nintendo Switch Dock.

Why use the Reaka USB Hun 4 in 1 as a Nintendo Switch Hub?

This is a very good question.

First, when you buy a Nintendo Switch you only get one dock. Also the official Nintendo dock is not available to purchase at stores. As a result if you want one for another room so the Switch can be played on multiple TVs or if your dock has broken it is very difficult to find an official Nintendo dock.

Second, in the past there have been a lot of problems with aftermarket Nintendo Switch docks. A lot of systems have been completely broken by using them and the warranty won’t cover the damages since it was caused by an aftermarket dock. The issue that has occurred comes from using different power supplies. The Reaka Hub uses any USB-C cable to power it so you can use the official Nintendo charger that comes with your Switch (it is also available very cheap to buy) which eliminates this problem.

Third, the Nintendo dock is rather large and not very good for travel. If you are like me you want to pack as little as possible when travelling and a rather large plastic brick is not something that I want to bring with me. The Reaka Hub is much smaller but…

Is it good for travel?

The short answer is… Yes. The Reaka may not be the smallest Nintendo Switch dock available. With that being said it is still a very small and portable dock. It is very light and easy to stash in any pocket of a backpack, suitcase, Switch carrying case, etc. Also, as I mentioned above, it can used with multiple devices. This really sets it apart from most other docks available that can only be used for the Switch only. In short I think it is a great dock for travel whether you use it for the Nintendo switch or for other devices.

Conclusion

Are you looking for a travel dock for the Nintendo Switch? You should get the Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1. Do you need another dock to replace your official Nintendo Switch dock or for another room? You should get the Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1. Do you want to clone your phone or laptop screen onto your TV? You should get the Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1. In short if you have any need to clone any screen to your TV the Reaka USB Hub 4 in 1 is a great option, especially if you travel a lot.
