If you have a game system of any kind you will eventually want a way to store your controllers. Depending on the system there are a lot of options and others have very little. No matter which one you have the Oaprire Universal Dual Controller Stand should work for you.
Build
The Oaprire Dual Controller Stand is made out of acrylic and has a few color options for the base. I personally chose the clear but the white and black options look nice as well.
It is a simple design but one that works with any controller. There is a base and a u-shaped upright that has four arms on it. The arms are designed in a way to allow your controller to sit securely in a groove and be elevated nicely above the surface of whatever the stand is sitting on.
Features
Besides the overall design Oaprire also built in a very nice feature. Cut outs to allow you to plug in a wire to charge the controller while it is on the stand. You can get charging stands but they are only good for a specific controller. Since this stand is universal the cutout works perfectly. It also means you don’t always have to have it plugged in and when you are someone who hates wires like me that is a big plus.
Assembly
As I stated earlier the Oaprire Dual Controller Stand comes in two pieces, the base and the upright. It also comes with 4 small pieces of crystal clear double sided tape. To assemble the stand you put one piece of tape on the two cutouts on the bottom of the upright. Then you slightly squeeze the sides together to make the front notches fit in the grooves of the base. You then rotate it back to set the back notches in as well. Give it a nice push to make sure it is all of the way down and it is assembled. It couldn’t be much easier. It also comes with 4 small rubber feet that you can put on the bottom if you want to.
Use
After you assemble it you just have to figure out where to put it and place your controllers on top. The controllers fit great and sit down nicely in the grooves. I personally bought this for my Google Stadia controllers which I could not find a stand for and it works great. If you haven’t tried Stadia you really should.
