INIU B1-B6 Power Bank Review

Do you ever find yourself out of the house holding a device with a dead battery and no way to charge it? If so then you need a portable power bank. These devices are designed for one thing. That is to give your mobile devices a charge when you have no access to a plug. The INIU B1-B6 Power Bank is great one that you should check out.

Design & Specs

INIU B1-B6 Power Bank Box

The INIU power bank is a small battery pack that you can use to charge your mobile devices when you have no access to a plug or while you are going from place to place. It is approx. 5.3” long X 2.8” wide X 0.6″ thick. That is around the size and weight of a small phone. It feels very well built when you are handling it and it has a nice matte black finish. It also comes with a quality, thick mesh carry pouch and a short USB-A to USB-C cable.

The Power bank itself contains a 10,500 mah battery. This is enough to charge most phones from 0%-100% two or more times. There is a USB-C port with 18W power delivery to enable you to fast charge devices that accept power delivery. There are also two standard USB-A ports which have Quick Charge 4.0+ technology. So no matter how your device charges you should be covered.

A few other features that the power bank has that many others don’t are a LCD screen, a phone stand (which you can see in the picture on the right) and a flashlight. The flashlight is as expected, a small led flashlight much like the one on your phone. Nothing special but handy to have. The phone stand is a small clip that pulls out from the bottom to hold your phone in landscape mode.

The LCD screen though is something that should be a standard feature on all power banks. It’s sole purpose is to tell you how much charge the internal battery has as well as if the connected devices are fast charging. Without this screen you are guessing how much charge the power bank’s battery has every time you go out. Usually this means you have to remember to charge the power bank every time before you leave. The display lets you take a quick look to see if you are good instead of wasting your time charging or worst yet getting caught with a backup battery that is useless.

Use

INIU B1-B6 Power Bank

Using the power bank couldn’t be much easier. All you have to do is charge it up by plugging the supplied cord into the USB-C port on the power bank into a USB-A port on a charger, wall adapter, etc. When it is charged the screen displays “100%”. and it is ready to go. Now you just plug your device in and it will start charging right away. One thing to note is if you are charging multiple devices at the same time it will not fast charge. This not entirely unexpected but it would be nice if it was able to do it. In reality this will not come into play too often though.

The power button doesn’t have a ton of uses. It is located on the side of the power bank. It’s used to see how much charge the device has and to operate the flashlight. If you press it once the screen turns on for 20 seconds to let you see how much charge there is. While charging the power bank itself or your phone the screen will stay on. If you double-press the power button the flashlight will turn on. You do the same to turn it off.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a great, portable power bank to charge your devices while you are out and you are not going off the grid for more than a couple of days, you should definitely check out the INIU B1-B6 Power Bank. It is small, built extremely well, comes with a nice carrying pouch, has a very handy LCD screen and even a flashlight and phone stand built in. It also comes at a great price. I would recommend this power bank to anyone.

I would like to mention that I was given this power bank to review and for that I want to say thank you to INIU. You can be assured that this did not influence my opinion on this product at all.
