That’s a great question. The INIU 3 in 1, obviously, is a wireless charging pad. What makes it different from many other wireless charging devices is the fact that it can charge your phone, smart watch and earbuds all at the same time. This is a great way to save desk space since you only need one charger for all your devices. Also the charger is powered from a single USB-C cable so you cut out the mess of cables as well.
Wireless Charger Specs
The INIU 3 in 1 Wireless Charger has all of the specs that you would expect from a wireless charging pad. It connects to the wall with a single USB-C cable and the included USB wall adapter. It can fast charge at 10W, 7.5W and 5W on the phone area using the QuickCharge, Power Delivery or AF. The earbud area charges at 1A and the watch area charges at 500mA. There are also some built-in safety features. INIU calls these features TempGuard 2.0. This feature monitors the charging temperature 3.2 million times per day. This ensures that your devices batteries are protected against overheating, explosion and it helps to prolong their lifespan as well.
I consider these safety features essential but surprisingly some chargers do not have them. Without these safety features I would be hesitant to use that charger. It could charge the phone at a rate that could damage it or worse, overheat and catch on fire. These essential specs and features are great but what really sets the INIU apart from the competition are the bonus features that it has.
INIU 3 in 1 Bonus features
The INIU 3 in 1 has a lot of extra features that you generally don’t see in wireless chargers.
- The biggest thing is that the charger has built-in MagSafe compatibility. This is great if you have a phone with MagSafe capability. You will know that your phone will always be lined up perfectly with the charging coil. If you don’t have a MagSafe compatible phone the charger still works great. Your phone just won’t line itself up with magnets.
- The INIU can charge your phone, smart watch and earbuds all at the same time.
- The INIU folds in ½ to save even more space if you just want to charge your phone
- It is great for travel. Since the INIU 3 in 1 is very compact, can fold in ½ and comes with a very small USB wall adapter it makes it the ideal charger to bring with you to a hotel. It won’t take up a lot of space, there’s only one cable required and bringing one charger beats bringing three separate ones.
- The charger can also convert to a stand. This feature only works if you have a MagSafe compatible device. But, if you do, the charger can easily fold into a stand to charge your phone while holding it upright for easy viewing.
- It even comes with a 3 yr. warranty so you know that INIU stands by their products
Wireless Charger Cons
The INIU 3 in 1 has only one con in my opinion. I wish it could be used as a stand without needing a MagSafe compatible device. A small pop-up shelf could have accomplished this. I don’t think that the INIU 3 in 1 was designed for this purpose though. It is a great wireless charger that is geared towards the newer Apple ecosystem. For that it is great. If you add MagSafe to an older iPhone or Android with an adapter, like the one that I reviewed on my YouTube channel here, it is also an amazing choice.
Should you buy the INIU 3 in 1 Wireless Charger?
Based on everything that I list above I think the INIU 3 in 1 Wireless Charger is a great charger to buy. If you have a smart watch and earbuds that can be charged wirelessly it makes it an even better choice.
Overall if you are in the market for a wireless charging pad I don’t think you can really go wrong with the INIU 3 in 1 Wireless Charger.
